Compensation: $23–$29/hour (based on experience, education, and classroom assignment)

We’re looking for an EEC-certified Infant Teacher with significant classroom experience to join our growing faculty team. As part of our founding staff, you’ll help shape our program from the ground up, in a brand-new school in the Charlestown Navy Yard.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and responsive classroom for infants aged 8 weeks–15 months

  • Lead developmentally appropriate routines, including feeding, diapering, napping, and play

  • Observe and document milestones using an inquiry-based curriculum

  • Build warm, trusting relationships with families and keep them informed daily

  • Collaborate with co-teachers and school leaders to deliver a high-quality program

What We’re Looking For:

  • A certified Infant/Toddler teacher through the MA Department of Early Education & Care (EEC)

  • At least one year of full-time experience in a licensed infant classroom

  • Strong multitasking and time management skills

  • A calm, caring demeanor and deep respect for babies’ needs and rhythms

  • Team-player attitude and dependable work ethic

  • Strong communication skills and a love for connecting with families

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to meet EEC background and fingerprinting regulations

  • Physical capacity to lift and care for infants (up to 50 lbs), including crib and changing table transfers

  • Ability to attend a monthly Tuesday evening faculty meeting (6–8pm during holiday weeks)

  • Must be able to work any required full-day shift between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
